About Molly Gimmel
Molly is an award-winning entrepreneur, author, speaker, and advocate.
Molly has been working in the field of government contract and acquisition management since 1991. Before co-founding D2DInc in 2001, she spent eight years working in the government practices of three of the “Big Six” accounting/consulting firms.
Molly has over two decades of leadership experience running her own multi-million dollar government contracting firm, and has served in numerous leadership roles within several professional associations and non-profit organizations. She shares her leadership lessons learned in her Substack newsletter "Leadership Uncorked."
Molly holds a Masters of Science in Contract & Acquisition Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the College of William & Mary. She has a Graduate Certificate in Leadership from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.

Molly is the founder & Chief Mentor of the Vellamo Leadership Institute. Through Vellamo, she provides keynotes, workshops and leadership training and consulting.
Molly is the co-founder and co-CEO of Bolder-I, providing an AI-powered clinical assistant for medical practices, that allows providers to reduce time spent on documentation, increase accuracy of billing, identify potential adverse drug interactions, and be more present with patients.
Molly is the co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of Ren3for, which has developed a weather prediction software product that predicts weather with 99% accuracy up to 96 hours in advance. This software product was developed specially for companies in the alternative energy field, who need hyper-accurate and hyper-local forecast data.
Molly started M&D adVentures with her long-time business partner in D2DInc to create the Co-Founder Boot Camp, a workshop to help business partners who are committed to fixing what’s off before it becomes irreversible.

NAWBO's mission is to propel women entrepreneurs into spheres of influence.
Molly has been a member of NAWBO since 2002, serving in multiple leadership roles at both the local chapter and national levels. She served on the National Board of Directors from 2014 - 2020, including a year as Chair from 2018-2019.
Molly was awarded Enterprising Women magazine's Enterprising Woman of the Year award in 2014, and has served on the magazine's Advisory Board since then. In that role, she helps steer the magazine's content supporting women business owners.
